Description
Two geese facing a lotus, a pair carved on temple friezes and stupa railings as a sign of grace and good fortune.
From the stone carving of Indian temples: the lotus on the ceiling, the creeper around the doorway, the geese in the frieze and the tower above the shrine. Each of these motifs has been carved for well over a thousand years. A statement piece for the middle of a wall, at eye level.
