Description
Two annapakshi, the crested swan of South Indian temple art, facing a lit lamp: a pair for the entrance or pooja wall.
From Tamil Nadu: the kolam drawn in rice flour at the doorstep every morning, the hand-made tiles of Athangudi, the carved doors of Chettinad mansions and the gopurams of the great temples. A statement piece for the middle of a wall, at eye level.
