Description
A vase of flowers in an arched niche, the favourite subject of Mughal inlay panels, in four layers.
From parchin kari, the Mughal art of setting flowers of coloured stone into white marble, best known from the Taj Mahal. We build the same flowers from coloured layers instead of stone. A tall piece for a narrow wall, a staircase or beside a doorway.
