Description
A round screen of eight-point stars and diamonds, the geometry of Mughal jaalis drawn in a circle.
From the jaali, the pierced stone screen of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi and Agra that lets in breeze and light while keeping a room shaded and private. Its stars and hexagons are pure geometry, which is why it still looks modern. A statement piece for the middle of a wall, at eye level.
